D'Breeon D'BREEON's work has been celebrated since he was part of the album project "MadScene" with his band, the Dans. As a result, D'BREEON was invited to Paisley Park (The Artist Formerly Known as Prince's) recording studios to lay down the tracks that now appear on the DO IT album as "Call Her". . D'BREEON was born and raised in Chicago where he started playing the piano and saxophone when he was six years old. He studied at the University at Wisconsin, Madison where he extensively played the local club scene and became well-know as an energetic New-School Jazz saxophonist. He played with Stanley Jordan at a concert in conjunction with Stanley Jordan's promotional tour. At the same time, he composed and performed smash Pop-R&B jams with his band, the Dans. Soon after graduation, he moved to Los Angeles to work exclusively in the music field. Here he performed in clubs like the Roxy and Gaylord in Beverly Hills, the Sidewalk Cafe and Mystic Joe's in St. Monica. He worked as an audio engineer in the Black Hole Studio as well as an independent producer with a variety of artists and labels. Chi Sound Records, DTA Records and Altar Records are some of them. D'BREEON definitely got the edge on his music in L.A. The master writes, records and masters all his tracks at his own studio, called D'BREEON Studios in Mar Vista, CA. D'BREEON has been invited to many different parties and exclusive functions including Whitney Houston's album pre-release party where Whitney requested that he write and submit a song for one of her future albums(still to come). At this and other functions, he networked with luminaries such as Baby Face, Easy - E, Shiela E, Stevie Wonder, Paula Abdule, Barry Manilow, Eddie Murphy, Al Jarreau, Joe Sample, David Sanborn, Marcus Miller, Miki Howard, Wesley Snipes and selected others. The multi-faceted talent explored other aspects of the entertainment field as well. He appeared as a featured conga player on The Mary Thomas Story Disney feature as well as an understudy for Morris Day in the play Lawd ha Mercey. He also hosted a Show for America Now International where he interviewed Herbie Hancock, Jamie Foxx, Babyface and others, attending the Bad Boys exclusive movie premiere in Hollywood, California. At this time, the entertainer is concentrating on performance and promotion of his smash album DO IT. |
