George Gamez

George Gamez is both a clinical psychologist and professional singer/songwriter. This duality of roles explains his lifetime interest in the subject of creativity.

George's musical compositions have been recorded numerous times. "Bridges of Love" (which George co-wrote), was recorded by Jose Feliciano. George's other songs have been recorded both in English and Spanish and he has written songs for children's educational TV.

His current CD is titled "Between 2 Worlds." Like his first CD, "Lightning Stikes Again," the music is a brilliant and smooth fusion of Flamenco, Contemporary Pop, Latin and New Age sounds. He currently teaches a workshop called "Creativity Playground for Songwriters" at the Songwriters Guild of America and also hosts his own Cable TV show in Los Angeles called "The George Gamez Show."

George is author of "Creativity: How to Catch Lightning in a Bottle" and "Self Hypnosis for Health and Personal Growth." His books have been used in University classes in Business and in Education Departments.

George is a member of the American Psychological Association, the California Psychological Association, the National Academy of Songwriters and the American Songwriters Guild.
