Brannan Lane

Brannan has performed in the USA, Europe, Asia and the Caribbean. He has been performing music for 26 years. At age 13, he started performing in night clubs and private parties in his father’s jazz big band and combo bands. At 17 years old, Brannan started college on a full scholarship with a double major in piano and percussion.

Brannan draws from a wide range of influences. His debut solo release, “Caribbean Dream”, illustrates some of these diverse elements of Brannan’s musical palette. Words like contemporary, world, ambient, new age or jazz, would be used to describe different tracks. “Caribbean Dream” reached # 10 on the NAV Top 100 Airwaves. (NAV is a magazine out of Atlanta, GA that tracks air play of new age and world music in the USA, Canada and seven other countries!) This air play helped Brannan’s record label, World Circle Records, to receive distribution in all the major book and record stores in the USA, Canada, and on the World Wide Web. He is currently working on international distribution of his music.

Brannan makes his living as a full time musician. He works regularly with pop and country star, Skeeter Davis, performing weekly radio and TV shows at the Grand Ole Opry in Nashville, TN. He records and works with a band from Baton Rough, LA., Delicious Blues Stew (now conveniently living in Nashville). Currently the Stew is recording their third release. You can hear Brannan on the latest release from the Music City Blues Society, and he has been recording Americana music in Nashville, TN and Austin, TX for The Ballistic Pintos debut release, “Pintomania”. He also performs live gigs with the Pintos.

Brannan also provides material or can produce customized music for motion pictures, documentary films, computer games, TV movies & shows, soap operas, TV & radio commercials and CD ROMs.

He is currently working on three more solo projects to be released soon!
