Organic jazzy-pop recording artist Lisa Lauren brings her unique singing, songwriting and piano style to her sparkling debut CD featuring David Sanborn and Fareed Haque.  With a worldwide fan base and her second CD ready to be released, Lisa is making big splashy waves in the music industry.

Lisa Lauren once again transcends categorization with her new CD, "my own twist", still awaiting a new record label and a release date.  "my own twist"  brings back the burningly hip alto sax of jazz hunk David Sanborn, the many guitar sounds of the versatile hindustani pop-rock-world jazz guru Fareed Haque, and the unique harmonica of the groovy, mustachioed virtuoso Howard Levy along with new additions of the smooth and sexy soprano sax of steamy Steve Cole (Steve loves alliteration), the effervescent Jonathan Paul on bass as well as the I'm-diggin'-Lisa-but-I-made-a-commitment- to-Pat-Metheny-to-be-his-bass-player Steve Rodby.

Lisa Lauren is a recording artist residing in Chicago.  A pianist, singer and songwriter, Lisa’s music can be heard on radio stations around the world. 
Her first CD, “what comes around” was released independently and after an
unprecedented show of radio airplay for a non-major label artist, she was
subsequently picked up by Miramar Recordings.  She’s now looking for a new
label for her follow-up CD and in the meantime has released a Christmas CD
single, “Christmas Wish”.
