Dino Soldo

As an Artist, Dino has made his name in all fields; Jazz, Pop, Blues, you name it - he's done it. Becoming a Pro right out of high school, Dino "cut his teeth" in clubs in his native Los Angeles area. He has played with a vast field of entertainers from all styles. He started his experience in Oakland's finest funk horn band, Tower of Power, playing a short stint in the solo sax position. From then on his career exploded; playing sax, winds, keys, and harmonica for Vannesa Williams, blues legend Johnny (Guitar) Watson, latin hero Luis Miguel, R&B diva Jody Watley, Superstar Lionel Richie, and countless others (including maintaining his reputation as a premiere jazz solo artist with Peter White, Take 6,Keiko Matsui, John Tesh, Chris Standring & the Solar System). He is now showcasing his band The Blue Period, in the States, playing songs from his debut pop release, Strange & Beautiful.

As a Producer, Dino started his career in '90 writing music for General Hospital and shared an Emmy that year with the music team. He then found the Acid/Jazz/Pop group, BareBones (Monster Music) in '94 which made Billboards top 50 with the song, A Few Degrees. StoneCoat, his alias, was founded in late '96 on the Sonic Images label. The project was an inspired journey into his cherokee heritage. The project is now under re-release in the Spring of '99. His debut solo project, Strange & Beautiful is now completed and is self-released under Tobacco Bagg Records. His single, Let it go can be heard on the daytime drama, the young and the restless & Passions .
