Randy Thorderson

Randy's music is a fun mix of R&B, Latin, and Pop flavors rolled into the realm of Smooth Jazz. He is his own band as every instrument you hear is played by the Randy himself. All compositions and arrangements are also his original work.

Randy began playing piano at age 6 and guitar at age 9. He spent many years as a composer, arranger, and producer in his local studio scene producing dozens of CDs of various music styles. Having traded in his "Full-Time" musician status for a steady paycheck, his projects are now more for the love of creativity. He enjoys the escape his basement studio offers him, finding there the true joy of musical inspiration.Recently inspired by a fantastic weekend at a JazzTrax festival on Catalina Island (with wife, sans kids), he decided to give the Smooth Jazz genre a try. Randy feels like he found a long lost friend as it was sounds of Jazz that first stirred his emotions and actions towards music.
