Mick Talbot - keyboard ace with Paul Weller, Galliano and The Young Disciples and producer for Carleen Anderson, Galliano and Workshy. Mick's played on records by artists as diverse as Luther Vandross, M - People and the Jam as well as being one of the UK's premier live players. Chris Bangs - DJ, Producer and Artist. ( link to my page ) Mick and Chris met while working on Galliano's first album . Mick then played on the debut Quiet Boys album "Can't hold the vibe" and finally got to work as a partnership when Chris got his own studio together . Their first album "Subculture" was successful all over the world with licenses in America, Japan, Germany, Italy and the UK. Extensive clubplay was forthcoming from the 12" "Closer to the source". Jazz FM then play listed the album and it spent over a year in their charts. Follow up album "Piktures" was equally well received. 'Purest Jazz - Funk but with an urban edge' - Blues and Soul . 'Superbly produced 90's ruff 'n ready funk' - Muzik Their latest album "Fingalikkin' Good" continues the vibe with phat beats, funky hammond organ from Mick and wicked sax from featured guest Andy Ross (of the Herbaliser) A new album "Yada Yada Land" is planned for late 2000 with a heavy club vibe.
