Ca-roH

The Band Ca-roH was founded in 1997 by Carolin Hild
and produced its' first CD "Higher" through its' own production.
Ca-roH has already been very successful in many different jazz festivals.
("Leverkusener Jazz Tage and by Deutschen Rock-Pop Prize to name a few.)
The popularity of Ca-roH has grown weekly, especially through
performances with 'Jupiter', Musik Meyer and the Live-Qualität.
The music of Ca-roH is filled with power, creativity and sensitivity
for music that is reflected with a mixture of jazz, funk and soul.

Something new and unique- in other words, Ca-roH!

The Saxophonist

Carolin Hild has collected her experience and versatility in many different forms.
She played in the RPR band "2 to Nine" with musicians such as "Sascha", "
Lutricia McNeal", "Guildo Horn", "Bap", "Fools Garden", and "Pur".
She is also a music teacher and has played background music for "Weather Girls"
and in the Sat 1 television series "Zwei zum verlieben".
Because of her experience, the company Jupiter engaged Carolin Hild
as a spokesperson for their instruments. Her constant "big" sound, her power,
but also her sensitive feel in the soft and quiet tones is what makes Carolin Hild
an exceptional saxophonist and Ca-roH to an unforgettable experience.

Carolin Hild is accompanied by:

Keyboards

Marc Heilmann is the sound "engineer" with Ca-roH. And will soon finish his degree
in music with a major in piano. Because of his knowledge in synthesizer programming,
he is often engaged as a keyboard technician for festivals and tourneys.
This gave him the possibility to work with musical giants such as Greg Mathieson,
Abe Laboriel, to name a few.
He also had the opportunity to play with rock singer Doro Pesch and
played in several festivals with her live band. He has his own studio and is
working on a solo project and produces for various other bands and musicians.

Bass

Armin Seibel has played the low notes in diverse bands for over ten years.
M. Miller, A. Laboriel and A. Johnson have influenced his preference for Jazz- Rock field,
but he is also the quiet and steady part with Ca-roH.
During the jazz festival in Idstein, Armin Seibel showed his quiet and composed
manner when he administered first aid to a spectator that collapsed due to heat exhaustion.
This is exactly his character that gives Ca-roH groove.

Guitar

Daniel Röder is just 20 years old and has played in several rock groups.
He is, therefore, responsible for the hard rock part in Ca-roH.
When teenies and guitarists hear his live solos, their hearts race with excitement.
He is presently working as a guitar teacher in several different music schools and is
working on a solo project.
He is also intensively preparing himself, through music professors in Cologne and Essen,
to begin studying for his music degree.

Drums

Thomas Heinz is undoubtedly the favorite with the female fans.
He is just 18 years old and one of the best newcomers on the drums.
Performances with various bands (for example, Landslide)
The Expo in Hanover or with Edwin Hawkins have given him important experience.
The completion of his apprenticeship as a carpenter was only a bothersome formality .
He is also preparing furiously for his music degree in Arnheim.

Special Guest

Annette Kreutz is a singer, songwriter and pianist. She is the vocal part in Ca-roH.
After her college degree in vocal jazz in Cologne, she performed in innumerable concerts on
a national and international level with choirs, big-, gala and show-bands, musicals or together with
Carolin Hild at Radio-RPR ("2 to Nine") and 'The Tiffany Collection'.
She is presently working as a music instructor in Bonn and Dormagen for piano
and voice and is a member of the well known a cappella group "Voice Sings".
Many critics compare her with the big name black singers and the comparison is well deserved.

Very Special Guest

Mike Haarman studied percussion in Cologne with Michael Küttner, Arijen Oosterhout in Holland, Dieter Steinmann from the Klaus Lage Band and Lexel Hein & Klaus Hessler in Aschaffenburg. He also participated in and completed several workshops, including classes with Steve Gadd and Mel Gaynor, to name a few.
Mike Haarman has several years of live stage performance with various Jazz and rock bands in Cologne and Bonn, , tours in Germany and Holland and participated with concerts in the Bonn Rhine Culture. He has also had several studio performances as well. In addition to his concert schedule, he is presently working as a music teacher at the Yamaha Music School in Bonn.
Mike Haarman has also mastered many of the various percussion instruments, being able to play them with his own unique form to just about every type of music. He learned this from many well known percussionists.
