Brandy Callahan

Brandy Callahan’s distinct powerful voice is already familiar to Canada.

Born in Halifax, NS, the self-described soul/jazz/gospel singer (and songwriter) moved to Toronto four years ago to pursue a music career. She has appeared on the Toronto Show on several occasions and has performed with Toronto’s elite musicians, including Wade O. Brown over the past few years. Brandy also plays the piano and produces some of her own music.

Brandy first performed in public at the age of two, perched on a church stool. She continued to sing in church and at age 18 formed a group that performed throughout the Atlantic Canada, including at the East Coast Music Awards.

A fan of the Halifax Mooseheads, Brandy also harbours a secret love of country music.
