Music has been a part of my life since childhood – I've trained my voice,
sung in choirs, toured with bands and I've taken part in talent contests.
Music is and has always been a chance to express my feelings, to give the
listeners a piece of myself and also to get something back…”

The story of an extraordinary cd produktion
The beginning was all quite normal: Anisha Cay grew up in the north of
Germany. Her family was very musical and this might have been a reason for
the fact that Anisha's love for music already developed in her schooldays.
Aged 14 and full of energy, she started vocal training – firstly classic
and later expanding and taking in Jazz. She studied the piano and the
saxophone and sang with a variety of coverbands.
The first highlight came in 1991, when she won the Golden Microphone on
the Rudi-Carrell-Show – followed by guest roles in “Sterne des Suedens”,
galas, radio and tv appearences.
Anisha Cay´s musical development changed with the passage of time to a
love of challengeing Pop and Jazz songs. In autumn 1999 she decided to
change her hobby to a full time job. Demos were made and thrown away again
and then, thanks to the internet, the way was found to the produktion team
JARIO / Tommy Weinz.
The Result: ANISHA CAY – introducing myself
The new cd contains a cover version of the classic “This Masquerade”,
baladesque popsongs, slightly jazzy numbers all produced with a lot of
love for detail.
