Jeremy Cohen is a contemporary violinist specializing in his very own ViolinJazz sound, which mixes the traditions of jazz and classical music with blues, pop, country and swing-era music for symphony orchestras, original recordings, musicals, motion pictures and television soundtracks.

Jeremy's ViolinJazz concerts with symphony orchestras include complete orchestrations and feature Jeremy Cohen's virtuosic playing. His chamber-jazz concerts blend his traditional violinjazz quartet (violin, piano, guitar, bass) with the string ensemble 4tet San Francisco, creating a very exciting chamber-jazz event.

Jeremy Cohen's electrifying recorded and live performances of jazz violin have earned him accolades across the country. His original and eclectic style reflects a respect for the works of Joe Venuti and Eddie South as well as Itzhak Perlman and Fritz Kreisler.

As a recording musician, his credits include numerous motion picture and television soundtracks, including "The Dukes of Hazzard," and Jane Fonda's "Dollmaker" and as studio orchestra concertmaster on recordings with Linda Rondstadt, Cleo Laine, Ray Charles, Howard Keel and Aaron Neville. He also appears on the Grammy-award winning CD, "Supernatural" with Carlos Santana, and has recorded on many occasions at George Lucas' Skywalker Ranch including "Star Wars" with John Williams.
