Over
the years London's Far Out label has created somewhat of a name
for themselves in bringing us the very best Brazilian beats and
without doubt this is one of their best releases ever! The debut
from the daughter of the legendary Azymuth's Alex Malheiro's is
an excellent mix of bossa's and sambas with touches of RnB,
jazz, electronica and even Incognito influences thrown in for
good measure! Bluey's son DJ Venom produces the album and
nowhere is the influence more noticeable than in the gorgeous '
Capoeira Vai'.
The tune just builds until
that unmistakable Incognito horn sound takes over and by then if
you are not dancing then you are most definitely dead!
Sabrina visits town later this month bringing her sambas to the
Marquee and I for one can't wait!
