Singer-songwriter, producer and multi-instrumentalist Jason Peterson DeLaire hails from Minneapolis. He is part of the legendary Peterson musical family and was recently inducted into the MN Music Hall of Fame along with his grandmother, jazz mistress Jeanne Arland, his mother Linda, his omens Billy, Ricky, Paul and his aunt Patty Peterson.

Jason has already worked with such household names as Prince, Donny Osmond, Michael Bolton, Richard Marx, Jimmy Jam & Terry Lewis, Oleta Adams, Bobby Brown and Alexander O'Neal. Currently he is touring internationally with Michael Bolton as a saxophonist, keyboard player and singer.

For this debut EP he called on musical colleagues such as The Braxton Brothers, Chris Camozzi, Oleta Adams, Jarrod Lawson and Lenny Castro.

On it Jason presents recent contemporary & smooth jazz, a combination of smooth jazz, soul and R&B. The first single from it is "Nightcap," the third track on this EP. It has become a swinging "feel good" song. But the opener is 'Check Please', an up-tempo track, dating back to last year, and featuring guitarist Chris Camozzi.

The beautiful ballad "Love Can Heal the World" also dates back to last year, and on it you can hear Oleta Adams. The title track is an instrumental track, after which the ballad 'True Love' closes this EP.

A very interesting introduction to this artist! I will definitely be hearing more from him!
