American guitarist, producer and mixer Brian Fechino works with solo artists as well as complete bands, adding his own guitar, bass and keyboards. Brian is a studio manager at The Holler in Nashville and has produced numerous songs for TV such as CBS's 'All Rise' & ABC's 'Stumptown'. He also works closely with The Rock Boat Music Cruise and Rock by the Sea Charity Festival. As a former lead guitarist for The Pat McGee Band, he prioritizes flavor and tone over technical gymnastics. His strength lies in his understanding of guitar history, technique and equipment, as well as his years of stage and studio experience. Moment by moment, in his playing, he is able to draw on this knowledge, producing every imaginable (and much previously unimaginable) sound from his guitar. His style can adapt to many different genres, while still maintaining his sense of taste and dedication to get the right sound and play the right role. Brian is also the third member of the Heart Dance Records Chill/Groove band Majestica. This new album sounds uplifting, groovy and lively, and is a sunny late summer mix of smooth jazz, world, electro-acoustic and ambient soundscapes. This optimistic EP is a perfect way to energize your day, elevate your mood and relax. Opener 'Water and Sun' immediately sets the tone, with sax by Michael Ghegan and trombone by Joel Mikulyak. 'That's Right' continues a little more calmly with Daniel Clarke on piano and organ. You can relax on 'Dressed and Ready', after which we hit the road with 'Walk It Off'. 'Stars Fall Forward' closes with a nice vibe. The whole thing was mastered by Cass Anawaty. Very nice! |
