I previously reviewed the album 'TIME' by the Spanish Multi-instrumentalist Christophe Goze. When the Corona pandemic broke out, Christophe was staying in Morocco, so he used a studio there to make these smooth jazz recordings.

He composed all but one of the songs, arranged them and produced them. Through the Internet he had contact with other musicians.

The title track is the first song, a real “feel good” track, with the acoustic guitar in the foreground. 'At The End Of The Street' opens with Indian chants, and guitarist Marc Antoine is a guest here.

Then we come to the equally beautiful 'The Nightfly' (2022), with the acoustic guitar again taking center stage. 'Lazy Sunday' exudes that relaxed Sunday feeling, when nothing has to be done. Variations on the title track can be heard on 'Soul To Soul (2022)' and with 'Bossa Roma' Christophe moves into quieter territory.

'You & I' continues on the same basis, after which the Beatles cover 'Norwegian Wood' features Skeb in flamenco style. 'Passing Time' is another nice “feel good” track to relax on, followed by 'Visual Love' with a romantic touch. 'Ti Voglio Bene (Revisited)' takes you on a walk with a light breeze, and 'We'll Meet Again (2022)' floats on a Mediterranean rhythm.

You also get extended versions of 'The Nightfly (Extended)' and of 'You & I (Instrumental)'.

Christophe delivered a gem of a CD here, which I received with a delay. Proof that the Corona pandemic was still good for something.
