The Dutch musician and composer Marc Hartman has already been reviewed here. He was born and grew up in Utrecht, and discovered music at the age of six.

During his teenage years, he played as a drummer in several bands, but soon discovered the synthesizer. However, in the early 1980s they were very expensive, but he was able to obtain one through a friend. He started working as a DJ to earn money, which he used to buy the equipment for his home studio.

In 1985 he remixed the first 2 CDs of the Italian disco project Koto, and that opened the way to more. In 2000 he worked as a sound engineer in studios. Shortly afterwards he purchased his second home studio and called it Neverland. Today he makes electronic music, such as chill-out and deep house, and also records under the pseudonym Weber & Weber.

His 17th full album is now out digitally, containing 12 downtempo tracks. Perfect for these warm summer nights, based on smooth grooves and melodic sounds. So time to chill!
