![]() This album is perhaps considered by some to be Lowell’s “best” work over the course of his 26 albums dating back to the mid-1990s. The multi-talented composer and producer has carved out a powerful indie niche through his colorful blend of bright electric guitar, jubilant bass lines, haunting melodies, funky grooves, and fresh beats. Growing up in Virginia, Lowell was introduced to music at a young age, often listening to his father play acoustic guitar and sing around their house. Lowell began playing guitar at the age of 6 and by the age of 15 was playing guitar and bass in R&B and blues bands in nightclubs. After college, Lowell served in the United States Air Force, where he was inspired to write and produce his own music. During Lowell's twenty-year Air Force career, he performed and recorded with countless jazz artists in Germany, the Panama Canal, and Florida. His loyal followers span generations and have enjoyed his performances time and time again. The 11 tracks bring a soulful, relaxed atmosphere. Beautiful smooth jazz with a touch of chill-out. ![]() |
