Composer and multi-instrumentalist Richard Williams weaves on this new Christmas album a rich tapestry of big band swing, orchestral tunes and rock arrangements that together result in a new, updated sound of the Christmas classics.

Williams is drawn to mainstream jazz and has already collaborated with Michael Bublé and The Carpenters on their Christmas CDs. He wanted that same sound for his own album, with an even richer sound.

Thus, he brought on board several of his favorite vocalists such as Ales Stiles, Nate Bryant, Rebecca Lopez, Evon Collett, Connor Ross, Taylor Miranda, Hayley Kirkland, Company B, Dmitry Noskov, Benny Benack III, Chelsea Brooke Olson and Julie Seechuck.

Add to this talented musicians such as saxophonists Eric Marienthal, Sal Lozano, Brandon Fields, Dan Kaneyuki and Will Vargas, trumpeters Wayne Bergeron, Rob Schaer, Kye Palmer, Mitchell Cooper and trombonists Andy Martin, Joey Sellers, Erik Hughes and Robert Todd.
Williams himself played piano, and bassist Trey Henry, drummer Bernie Dresel rounded out.

Timeless Christmas songs in a big band style, supplemented with a few orchestral songs. Ideal for those who love Frank Sinatra, Michael Bublé and The Carpenters.

And that includes me!
